Seither wurden an der Strassenanlage nur geringf\u00fcgige Instandhaltungsarbeiten ausgef\u00fchrt. Die Anlage entspricht nicht mehr den heutigen Standards, weist beachtliche Sch\u00e4den auf und die Tragf\u00e4higkeit der Kunstbauten ist f\u00fcr den heutigen Schwerverkehr ungen\u00fcgend. F\u00fcr einen im n\u00f6rdlichen Bereich des Sees liegenden Abschnitt von 600 Metern L\u00e4nge, welcher im Wesentlichen aus Br\u00fccken besteht, wurde im Sommer 2012 ein Gesamtleistungswettbewerb lanciert. Die nachfolgenden Ausf\u00fchrungen stammen aus dem publizierten TBA-Info vom Dezember 2013. Die Planung des Strassenabschnittes und die Bauausf\u00fchrung erfordern eine Gesamtbetrachtung und ein sorgf\u00e4ltiges Erkennen der Zusammenh\u00e4nge. Der Wettbewerb hatte zum Ziel, ein Projekt f\u00fcr eine technisch und gestalterisch \u00fcberzeugende und gleich zeitig wirtschaftliche L\u00f6sung sowie ein qualifiziertes Team f\u00fcr die Projektierung und Bauausf\u00fchrung zu finden.\n\nDas Projekt \u2018DA SEI A DUE\u2019 basiert auf einer umfassenden Analyse der gegebenen Randbedingungen und den Zustand der bestehenden Bauwerke. Es bietet L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze f\u00fcr alle relevanten Probleme und zeichnet sich aus durch die konsequente Einbindung des Bauablaufs und der Herstellungsverfahren. Damit erf\u00fcllt das Projekt eine wesentliche Zielsetzung des Gesamtleistungswettbewerbs. Die gut studierte Querschnittsgestaltung von \u00dcberbau und die gezielten Eingriffe bei den Pfeilern sind die Basis f\u00fcr ein wirtschaftliches Projekt.
